Easter hol’s are here and to me, the holidays are heaven sent , Last week i virtually pitched camp in the office after i had a bright idea on how to make big impression on my boss by upgrading the servers. This didn’t quite go as planned and for the whole week i was leaving the office at 2:am, by end of the week my eyes were as red as strawberries and i was walking with a stagger i had people look at me suspiciously in the streets with unmouthed suggestions on joining an Anonymous club that takes care of my kind.
The peace deal for the country has been rolling for about 3 weeks now and that makes me appreciate being in Kenya and being a Kenyan. I got a FW last week on some of those special things that makes growing up in Kenya in the 80’s something unique, like the Sadak shoes in all imaginable bright colors, only one TV station that used to open at 4pm, maziwa ya Nyayo milk, Good memories huh?
